Currently, I provide video teletherapy only. If you have any questions about this, we can discuss during a 20-minute complimentary consultation call.

Explore! The therapeutic relationship is critical for the healing process, so finding someone that feels like a comfortable fit is important. Feel free to reach out for a complimentary 20-minute consultation call to ask questions and get a feel for how I conduct sessions.

In our first session, we will explore in greater detail what brings you to therapy, what your hopes are for healing, and what treatment will look like. We will spend time laying out goals and reviewing your history. Here we begin the collaborative healing process that is built on in further sessions.
-
In general, the first few sessions are foundation building. In addition to addressing your presenting concern, we discuss your history and life experiences while exploring goals for healing. During the next few sessions, we continue to build on our foundation while simultaneously building skills for handling current life stressors. As counseling progresses and trust builds, we work from our built foundation to address the deeper issues underlying your experience.
-
There are a variety factors to consider when it comes to length of counseling and is something I am happy to discuss during a complimentary 20-minute consultation call. Progress in counseling is measured regularly to ensure you are making a wise investment for your healing. Typically, clients commit to counseling for 6 months to 1 year for specific concerns. Many continue for longer durations, some for shorter, and this is something we can discuss at any time.

I charge $150 for a 50 minute session.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not work with insurance. At your request I would be happy to provide you with an invoice of services (a superbill), which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company’s out-of-network provider terms for specific details.
-
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy - if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48-hours notice. If 48-hours notice is not given, a cancellation fee, the full session rate, will apply. If you are feeling too ill for a virtual session, we can meet by phone. In the event of an emergency that prevents giving 48-hours notice, contact me as soon as you can and we can make other arrangements.

As a client, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” detailing how much your mental health care will cost.
Legally, patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance can receive an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
