Hi, I’m Nadja, LPC.

Nadja Dixon is a licensed professional counselor serving the state of Colorado. She provides mindfulness-based psychotherapy services to young adults, college students, and young professionals.

Nadja holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. Her theoretical orientation combines strengths-based therapeutic work, client-centered counseling, mindfulness-based therapies, somatic mindfulness when trauma appropriate, executive function skill building, motivational interviewing, DBT emotional tolerance skill building, and transpersonal counseling. Nadja draws mainly from Attachment Theory, Neurobiology, and Systems Theory.

Nadja has worked with a variety of clients in a myriad of settings. From working in substance abuse treatment, counseling individuals on probation and parole, supporting college students in building executive function skills, to healing brains through neurotherapy, she brings a working knowledge of many fields to her clinical work. Nadja’s clients find her engaged, interested, and validating. She relies on a non-judgemental approach and incorporates her naturally spunky and lighthearted nature in session.
